Recertification

Systems Recertification

By reusing and repurposing components and systems of data center technology, vendors and customers are able to create a circular economy of materials flow that dramatically reduces our industry-wide carbon footprint. High technology components and systems are designed for ten and twelve and sometimes twenty year lifespans, but are routinely used for only three or four years. By extending the life of components in their primary use case, or by enabling secondary and tertiary use cases, we are able to take advantage of this longevity to avoid the manufacuring costs and resource impacts of a significant volume of new components. We can continue to grow and expand the computing industry and all the systems and services it enables, while better managing the resource consumption in energy, natural resources, and costs.
